Mahjong Moment began the way the best moments do — by accident.
We’re a design studio. One day, a brief landed on our desks that we’d never seen before: design a set of American Mahjong tiles. We knew nothing about the game. So we did what designers do — we studied it. The tiles. The rules. The ritual.
And then we played. The first time the tiles clicked in our hands, something clicked for us, too. The rhythm of the shuffle. The weight of a tile. The way a whole table leans in over one game. We didn’t just understand the product anymore — we loved the game.
So we designed a set we’d want to play ourselves. Tiles with real weight. Graphics that stay crisp. The kind of details only people who’ve fallen in love with the game would think to get right.
Mahjong gave us a moment we didn’t expect. We made this brand to pass it on.
